Perfectly positioned at the heart of the Caribbean's most coveted destinations, Windward Mayreau is the only resort with direct access to both Tobago Cays Marine Park and Salt Whistle Bay. Our 15 handcrafted bungalows blend Tulum-inspired design with Bali craftsmanship on their own pristine beach stretch within one of the world's most protected marine environments. Designed for travelers seeking authentic Caribbean experiences, mind blowing natural beauty, barefoot luxury, and adventure.
Tulum-Inspired Design, Bali Craftsmanship
Choose between 8 beachfront bungalows where you step directly onto soft Caribbean sand, or 7 oceanview bungalows with elevated privacy and natural wind protection. Each handcrafted retreat blends Tulum-inspired design with Bali craftsmanship, featuring custom reclaimed teak furnishings, premium French oak floors, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Every 435 sq ft bungalow includes a private deck, king-size bed, espresso machine, and all the luxury details for your Caribbean playground basecamp.
Discover Salt Whistle Beach
Stroll down the beach to find Salt Whistle Bay, a pristine tropical oasis National Geographic called "Paradise Found" and Conde Nast Traveler named a "Top International Beach." Salt Whistle Beach is the perfect spot for a beach day with spectacular, unspoiled views of the coral reefs as well as snorkeling, swimming, and stand-up paddle boarding.
Explore Tobago Cays Marine Park
Take a short boat ride to see why the Tobago Cays is known as the “Jewel in the Crown” of the Grenadines. These five uninhabited islands, surrounded by a clear lagoon, are home to hundreds of species, including sea turtles, rays, iguanas, and the most extensive coral reefs in St. Vincent. Swim with sea turtles, snorkel around the 2 1/2 mile long Horseshoe Reef, scuba dive, kiteboard, or enjoy a beach BBQ on a magnificent white sand beach.
Experience Kiteboarding Paradise
The Grenadines offer the finest kiting conditions in the Caribbean. Reliable trade winds blow 16-24 knots from November to July, offering epic conditions in warm turquoise water and a selection of uncrowded spots — waves, flat water, or island downwinders. It’s perfect for beginners, intermediate or advanced riders with twin tips, surfboards, or foils. And if you’re new to kiteboarding, this is the ideal place to learn with our partner school HappyKite.
Chill at our Beach Club & Restaurant
Our Tulum-inspired beach club showcases reclaimed teak furniture under a stunning teak stick ceiling, creating the perfect setting for oceanfront dining and relaxation. Sink into handcrafted seating while enjoying our extensive wine selection featuring French Champagnes and Loire Valley vintages, creative cocktails ranging from mezcal specialties to Caribbean classics, and craft beers from our favorite local micro brewer—including our signature Windward IPA. The restaurant's open-air design maximizes panoramic ocean views, while our thoughtfully curated music sets the ideal atmosphere for everything from morning coffee to sunset cocktails. Whether you're savoring fresh-caught seafood after your daily adventure or simply embracing island time, this is where barefoot luxury meets sophisticated dining.
Savor Foodie-Friendly Cuisine
We love food and the joy of cooking, baking, and almost anything homemade. Our restaurant and beach bar are the heartbeat of the resort—where design, flavor, and community intersect through elevated casual dining that's distinctly ours.
We don't chase fine dining formality. Instead, we deliver refined simplicity—food that excites the senses, comforts the body, and connects you to place and people. Our menu draws from the world's most vibrant coastal cuisines: Caribbean soul with fresh-caught yellowfin, mahi-mahi, and lobster from local waters; Mediterranean ease featuring authentic Neapolitan pizzas and whole grilled fish; Southeast Asian vibrancy with aromatic curries and summer rolls; and California wellness with fresh poke and smoothie bowls.
Our eclectic menu is designed to delight, nourish, and comfort you after a long day of hopefully doing nothing. Relax in our open-air oasis with sweeping views of the turquoise sea and nearby islands.
